| David J. Cottrell, President |
Mr. David Cottrell, Certified Public Accountant, is President of Mikunda Cottrell Accounting & Consulting with responsibility for firm planning and management. A 1970 graduate of California State University - Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, he graduated from Palmer, Alaska High School in 1964. Throughout his 30 plus year career, he has spoken professionally to various business groups regarding government funding and accounting along with testifying as an expert witness covering accounting and auditing principles. During Mr. Cottrell’s career, he has participated in continuing education covering SEC regulations, construction and compliance auditing.

| Don Peterson, Treasurer |
Don Petersen, Certified Public Accountant, is the senior accounting manager for Mikunda Cottrell Accounting & Consulting. He currently supervises a staff of 10 professional accountants. Additionally, Mr. Petersen currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer to four different organizations and reports to their Boards of Directors. Don graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Mathematics from Claremont McKinna College located in California in 1973. He then spent five years with a national CPA firm in performing audits for major industries in California, including aviation construction, entertainment industry, banking industry, computer hardware manufacture, banking, and major retail outlets. The national CPA firm transferred Don and his family to Anchorage in 1978 in order to provide training and audit expertise to their local office.

Michelle Yankovich,

Michelle Yankovich, Certified Public Accountant, is a Senior consulting manager for Mikunda Cottrell Accounting & Consulting. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Michelle has over eleven years of public accounting experience in the areas of audit income tax preparation and providing accounting assistance. In her current position, she is primarily responsible for preparation of compiled financial statements and providing accounting assistance for various clients. In addition, she does special engagements such as conducting salary surveys and performing operational reviews and analysis of accounting processes and procedures and provides implementation assistance. Michelle is a member of the American Institute and Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Susan Naramore, Manager, CFS
Susan Naramore is a Search Consultant for Creative Financial Staffing, an in-house affiliate of Mikunda, Cottrell Accounting & Consulting. Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Accounting from Northwest Nazarene University. She has over ten years of accounting experience, seven working for Micron, a company in the semi-conductor industry with world-wide operations. There she supervised three accounts receivable clerks and did various other accounting tasks for that Firm.

Paula Reed - Accounting Manager
Paula Reed is an Accounting Manager with over 15 years of accounting experience, including eight years of supervising the Firms work with construction accounting and with the Alaska Village Safe Water Projects. Additionally, she is responsible for supervising our various payroll services. Prior to working for Mikunda Cottrell Accounting and Consulting, she worked extensively in the general construction and real estate fields. Paula is directly responsible for supervising and training employees as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. She is also instrumental in setting up and maintaining various accounting software packages.
Melody Lindsey - Accounting Supervisor
Melody Lindsey, is an Accounting Supervisor with Mikunda, Cottrell Accounting & Consulting with over 15 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience. Currently, Melody is handling Village Safe Water Projects, which she has been doing now for the last four years. Prior to Mikunda,
Cottrell, Melody worked for Coopers & Lybrand, handling the Public Health Water & Sewer Projects. She also has experience in working in other various types of accounting, such as retail, oil
company, and restaurant and liquor establishments. Melody is knowledgeable in fund accounting, job costing, accounts payable and receivables, certified and force account payrolls. . She is also proficient with a number of accounting software packages.
Lisa Kibbee - Accounting Supervisor, Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor
Lisa Kibbee is a Supervising Accountant with Mikunda Cottrell Accounting & Consulting, Inc. (MCAC). She has been with MCAC since 1998, bringing to the Company over 17 years of full charge bookkeeping experience in public accounting, utilities, retail, village tribal councils, corporations and nonprofits, and a variety of service related businesses.
Lisa specializes in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger and preparation of financial reports. She is also proficient with a number of accounting software packages, with an emphasis on QuickBooks. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She has many years experience with village stores, village electric utilities, village fuel facilities, village tribal councils, IRA’s and cities in village Alaska. She has experience working on Village Safe Water accounting implementation projects in communities around Alaska. She configured, installed, set-up and trained the staff on their new QuickBooks accounting system with an emphasis on grant accounting to meet both state and federal reporting requirements. Additionally she has made presentations to village tribal councils and cities about their accounting systems.
Lisa's varied experience, along with her exceptional ability to handle multiple and difficult tasks, enables her to serve her clients effectively and efficiently.
Julia Reader - Senior Accountant
Julia has over 25 years of accounting experience in Alaska. Her business background includes for profit, non-profit, Native Corporations, School Districts, construction, service and retail companies both in bush and urban communities. Julia has extensive experience in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities as well as office management. She is proficient in several software packages including Quick Books, Great Plains, MAS200 and Libra.
Vivian Vreeland - Accountant
Vivian brings a B.A. in Business, Accounting emphasis, from the University of Montana and 6 years experience in the Banking Industry. Pro-active, motivated, efficient and with a broad range of accounting and IT skills, she is a valuable asset to the Firm.
